The 2020 Jays baseball season has come to an end. We are already looking forward to next season!
During one rainy afternoon, the 2019 baseball team did some community service work in Greenville! The Jr. High Bluejay baseball team connected with the Bond County Historical Society to help move artifacts from the Hoiles-Davis Museum to their new home across the street. The museum's new home was built by Mr. U.S DeMoulin in 1900. Society President Kevin Kaegy gave the boys a brief history of both homes. Coach Stoecklin then lined the boys up in a bucket brigade style to hand books and small artifacts from the existing museum to the trucks. After a brief water break, they moved across the street to unload the same way. WGEL featured an article about the boys, which can be found HERE. A slideshow of pictures from the day is on the right. Great job helping the community!
