BLUE CREW AT GREENVILLE JR. HIGH
Blue Crew is a leadership group for 7th and 8th graders. There is a grade requirement, and students must get a recommendation from a teacher. Mrs. Miller (7th Grade Language Arts) is the faculty sponsor for Blue Crew. Blue Crew members were selected in September - congratulations to the 2018-19 Blue Crew!

For Halloween, Blue Crew sponsored a Mix It Up Lunch! As students entered the cafeteria, they drew table names out of a hat. Students sat at whatever table they drew. Blue Crew provided games and candy and had music going. Lots of dancing broke out between tables! Several teachers and staff members participated, as well. A slideshow of pictures is on the left. Thank you to Mrs. Miller and Blue Crew for a fun lunch time - we can't wait for the next one!

Blue Crew does lots of fun and helpful activities during the year. During the 2017-18 school year, Blue Crew helped with Parent Teacher conferences, organized "Mix it Up" lunches, designed and sold spirit shirts, held a very successful fundraiser for Shriners Hospitals, and helped raise awareness for Autism during Autism Awareness Week. They also hosted a "pack the place" night at the GJHS Volleyball game to raise money for Randy Stief - pictures are on the right!
Blue Crew began during the 2015-16 school year. The Greenville Advocate featured a story on Blue Crew - to read the article about Blue Crew and the reasons Mrs. Miller chose to start the group, click HERE!
